It is very important for every musician to practice their instrument at home.  Take a few minutes every day to review some of the exercises below.  Please, let me know if you have any trouble or would like some help.  I am available most days before and after school.

SIGHT SINGING

You can use the exercises below to practice sight singing at home.  If you have a piano, use middle C as your starting pitch, "do."  If you do not have a piano, any comfortable pitch will be fine to start.

After determining your starting pitch, pat a steady beat on your leg and count "one, two, ready, go."  Sing each pitch as a quarter note, giving it one beat.  You are now on your way!!!

Below you will find the line and space names for you to review for the treble and bass clef staves.  This should be helpful for at home review.
