Disease Brochure

You and your research team work in Washington DC at the Centers for Disease Control.  It is your BIG DAY because Congress has decided to hear your team’s presentation on the disease that you all have been researching for some time now.  Your task is to gather your information and design a brochure to present to Congress. 

 Grading Rubric:

 ______           5 Points – Cover Page

 ______           5 Points – Pictures, Appearance (font, colors, layout)

 ______           5 Points – Spelling, grammar

 ______           20 Points – Accurate information and All required info included

 ______           Total Points

 The guidelines are as follows:

 Publisher Brochure:

          The following describes what information should be included in the brochure and how it should be laid out.  Your brochure should be created using Microsoft Publisher and choosing the tri-fold brochure option.  Keep the following tips in mind also:

• Use color
• Use pictures where necessary (minimum 3 pictures)
• Use appropriate font sizes
• Act as if the person reading the brochure has no prior knowledge of this topic
• Please see the reverse side of this paper for specific info to be included on your brochure
