Frequently Used Sites      FrontPage Assignments     Flash Assignments

Welcome to Web Design. This 12-week course will allow you to become proficient in using FrontPage 2003. It’s easy to create a web site and fill it with colorful images, informative text & wacky sounds. The program serves up simple methods for adding hyperlinks & creating tables. It offers over 60 web themes – with buttons, pictures, and other visual features that give your web site a cool and consistent look. You will create a personal web site using a wizard as well as creating an interactive web quiz and making a web page writing html text. You’ll learn the basics on getting started, adding text and images, linking to other web sites, and much more. The final weeks of the class will explore Flash, a software program to create animations.

Grading

Your grade will be based on weekly participation and several Front Page and Flash assignments.  Each Front Page and Flash assignment is graded on; attention to detail, complexity of design, neatness, cooperation, self-evaluation and modeling our school’s adopted life skills. Assignments will be worth  certain point values.  All assignments have scheduled due dates.  If you are absent or fall behind on an assignment you must go to the Library before or after school to make up work class time since there is no work that can be done from home.
