Language Arts
This week in language arts the students will focus on the
following:

In Vocabulary, the Core Humanities students will focus on
the root - "cred". |

In Literature, the class will study legends and
fables, and will be concentrating on the literary term, theme. |

In Grammar, students will continue to study adverbs and
adjectives. |
|
In Writing, the class will focus on writing the Body Paragraph. |
Social Studies
This week in social studies the students will focus on the
following:

Students will complete and turn in the culminating
project for Unit 1. Next, we turn our attention on the study of
"Islam" and begin by taking a closer look at the geography of the Arabian
Peninsula.
