WOODS TECHNOLOGY 7/8

This course in woods technology will include activities such as bridge building/stress testing, a mass production unit to produce a candy dispenser and the design/construction and racing of CO2 powered dragsters. Your child will also produce a laminated cutting board between mass production shifts. These selected areas will allow the student to experience safe hand tool & machinery practices, cooperative learning, problem solving, engineering and design which is important in today’s society.

A lab fee of $20 will be required to cover the cost of the materials being used.

Since this is a hands-on lab class, good attendance is a must in order to contribute to the classes’ success.
