The purpose of this class is to use the time in this class to complete work assigned by your teachers and to improve your study habits. EXPECTATIONS: § Be on time and prepared for class. This means that you are in your seat when class begins with all necessary supplies to complete your work. These include personal reading book, class assignments, texts, planner, and binder with paper, pens, pencils, eraser, etc.§ You must have appropriate schoolwork to do. You may not sit in class and do nothing.§ You are to bring your personal reading book and planner to class every day.§ All students are to work quietly.§ Be courteous and respectful to others in the classroom.§ You are expected to use the restroom before or after class.§ You may begin putting away your materials two minutes before class ends.LIBRARY POLICY § You may request a Library Pass for the following reasons: appropriate computer use for an assigned project, check out a book for an assignment, check in your completed personal reading book and check out another one, or make copies for an assignment.§ Library use during Study Hall is a privilege. You must be a Level 3 or 4 student on a day to day basis in order to use the library.§ The Librarian must sign your pass as you enter the library and upon leaving.§ Any report to me from the Librarian or an assistant that you were not exhibiting Level 4 behavior will end your Library privileges for 2 weeks.I am available to assist you in completing your assignments and may find it necessary to contact your teachers for assistance/explanations.
