My Mission Statement

My mission is to inspire each student that I teach with the confidence and belief that they can accomplish what they dream of.  I will give each child the respect they deserve, and will be patient in my teaching and interaction with every student.  I will do everything in my power to foster responsibility and resourcefulness in and out of my classroom.  I will hold students to high expectations, celebrating with them when they achieve their potential, and patiently working with those who fall short.  Learning will be an enjoyable experience whenever possible, and I will bring a positive attitude to each day, expecting my students to do the same.  I will clearly communicate progress with students and parents, and make every effort to personally connect with all those who pass through my classroom.  I want students to leave my classroom as better people, having learned many lessons they can use for a lifetime.
