Students will receive a grade as well as comments for their Orchestra class. Participation in all performances is expected.

25% Participation in rehearsals (bringing instrument, music, pencil, and proper attitude in rehearsals, talking when appropriate, etc.)

25% Concert attendance (see classroom policy for illness, etc.)

25% Playing tests

20% Written work and tests

5% Paperwork (turning in work, forms, permission slips on time)

extra credit will be given to attendance of outside concert/events if a program, ticket or parent note is brought in with a students name on it. A movie report can be done once per trimester. Up to 3% will be added to their grade for extra credit turned in as long as all other work has been turned in.
