Opus 1 orchestra is a 6th grade orchestra made up of beginning players and students that had orchestra class in the 5th grade. Philharmonia is our 7th grade orchestra with some very advanced 6th graders placed in it.  The Sinfonia orchestra is our 8th grade orchestra. Advanced 6th grade students need Mrs. Vail's permission to skip up to the  Philharmonia orchestra. All groups participate in Eastshore league Solo and Ensemble festival in March. The Sinfonia orchestra participates in our league large ensemble festival in April. All students have 3 evening performances during the school year.
