CONGRATULATIONS on being accepted into the Humanities Plus Program at Beaver Lake Middle School. This will be an exciting year for you! The concept of Humanities Plus is to challenge the more capable student above and beyond the regular humanities class.

Students are enlisted to challenge themselves and to take responsibility for their own learning. In the Humanities Plus class we look beyond the classroom to get answers to questions. Developing skills to think "outside the box" and to be creative is vital in today's society. We ask the HP student to stretch themselves to broaden their perspectives and horizons.

 Students will be held to high academic and behavior standards in this class. We expect the HP student to be self motivated to strive to go above and beyond expectations.
