Math Homework FAQS and Policy
What is the homework policy?
Homework is important to help students make sense of and practice the work done in class. It will also help students meet homework expectations as they transition into regular classrooms.
 | All homework is due the next day for full credit. |
| You have as many days as they were absent to make up the homework. For example, if you were absent three days, then you have three days to make up your homework. |
| You will get two “late homework passes” each trimester to use whenever you wish. (Staple to late homework when turning it in.) |
How much math homework will I be assigned?
Students will have homework once or twice a week. To begin this year, they will have homework every Wednesday, due Thursday. Students will never be assigned weekend homework.
If you can’t complete your homework for any reason, have your parents write a note on the homework page and include their signature.
***If for some reason there is no homework on a Wednesday,
Ms. Johanson will have
students write a note in their planners and she will sign
the note.
