About The Teacher:
I majored in Special Education at Central Washington University and have a Masters degree as a Reading Specialist. I have taught elementary, middle, and high school students, including a long term substitute position at Skyline in LRC 1. My experience at Skyline gave me valuable insight into preparing students for success at that level. I also have done consulting in study skills and emphasize those skills in every subject area I teach. I have lived in the Issaquah school district for nearly twenty years. My daughter attended Pine Lake Middle School and Issaquah High and we still reminisce about the wonderful teachers and experiences she had. Some of my favorite things are dogs, chocolate, golf, traveling and teaching.
